Year of the Horse • Chinese New Year Special Program

As the Year of the Horse approaches, Suzhou MoCA is excited to unveil its special Chinese New Year program. The program consists of two curator-led tours and two "Treasure Hunt in the Galleries" sessions, inviting the public to embark on an artistic rendezvous.

The two curator-led tours will focus on the current exhibitions "The Director's Room: Cai Chusheng" and "BIG: MATERIALISM." They will share behind-the-scenes stories, including the development of curatorial concepts, the paths taken for implementation, and the underlying thought processes. Through an analysis of the exhibitions' structural design, spatial layout, and detailed presentation, along with various interactive projects, these tours will provide participants with an in-depth understanding of each layer of expression within the exhibitions.

The two "Treasure Hunt in the Galleries" sessions provide an engaging and interactive way to explore the exhibitions. Through a specially designed "Exhibition Treasure Hunt Guidebook" created for the New Year program, participants will be guided step by step to unlock the details of the exhibitions, through interactive exploration, fostering spatial awareness and artistic understanding. This activity is designed to encourage parents and children to discover the artworks at their own pace, fostering shared artistic experiences and strengthening emotional and cognitive connections during the festive season.
